33 Year Old Woman, Ms Bianca Was Strangled To Death In Lekki By Her 27 Year Old Lover, Victor

Homicide detectives of the Lagos State Criminal Investigations Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, Lagos have launched a man whose name was Victor Chukwuemeka Udenze from Urunebo village, Enugu-Ukwu, Anambra State over the murder of his 35-year-old lover, Ms Bianca Ndidi Okoye.

27 years Old Victor was alleged to have killed his Sugar Mummy, Ms Bianca, during a hot argument inside her apartment in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos, over "money related" fight...

Elder brother of Ms Bianca, Emeka Okoye, told Crime Alert that in a desperate move to cover his act, the suspect, Victor, went away with her phones, laptop, documents and disconnected every link between him and Bianca on the social media, facebook.

Narrating the circumstances that surrounded the death of their sister Emeka Okoye said, “that fateful night on the 10th of May, 2013, our sister, a mother of two from Ogidi, Anambra state, returned to her apartment in the company of Victor, a male friend whom she had been seeing for some time before the incident. Both of them went into the deceased bedroom.

"Before she slept off that night, the deceased teenage daughter identified as Onyinye said she heard noise and exchange of threats between her mother and Victor but did not enter the bedroom, as she thought it was some private matter that would be resolved amicably, after which she slept off. Their neighbors also reported that they heard Bianca’s shouts at night but did not enter her apartment as they equally did not envisage it would lead to her death.

“It was in the morning of the next day 11th of May, 2013, that one of the neighbours asked the deceased children after their mother, to which the children said she was still asleep. The fact of Bianca’s death however dawned on them, when her children were begging their neighbors for money to enable them eat."

"Their neighbour’s suspicion was compounded when the children further told them that they were begging for money because their mother had been sleeping since morning. This prompted them to go over to the deceased apartment, and opened her door, only to see Bianca lying on the bed, stone dead.

"The neighbours said they tried contacting her family, but apart from her children living with her, they did not know anybody with her. However, one of them identified as Philiper saved the day because she has the GSM number of one of Bianca’s friends identified as Chioma. She contacted her and she in turn was asked to contact any of us to come and carry her body.
"That was how we were able to know what happened and when we came, we discovered that her killer was on the run.”

Speaking with Crime Alert, Chioma, late Bianca's friend, said she could not believe what she heard, because it sounded like a rude joke. This made her to place a call across to the suspect, Victor, as she has his phone number.
According to Chioma, immediately the suspect picked her call, he hurriedly asked her if any of her friends had called her. She reportedly asked him why he was asking such question and he said it had to do with the deceased, Bianca, whom he had problems with. In shock, Chioma shouted, “so it is true you have killed Bianca, you will pay for it”, and immediately, Victor switched off his phone.

Crime Alert learnt that the case was reported at Elemero police station, and policemen came from the station and took the remains of the deceased away. Autopsy carried out on Bianca’s remains revealed that she died as a result of strangulation.

The family of the deceased told the Police that a few days after the incident, the deceased documents were seen littered on a street in Enugu, Enugu State, and they don't know how the documents got there.

You may wish to know that the late Bianca Ndidi Okoye was married, but separated from her husband, and was having an affair with Victor, until the time she was killed.

Nigerian Cab driver Shot Dead in Washington DC

A 57 year old cab driver Solomon James Okoroh  was shot dead around 3:15 am on Tuesday morning  June 4th in the 2400 block of Ontario Road, Adams Morgan, by two men who tried to rob him while riding in his cab, according to DC police.
The murder of Okoroh unfolded right in front of police, who took off after the suspects and chased them down under heavy gunfire.

Officers working a robbery detail in the neighborhood saw the cab in distress and then heard the gunshot before it crashed into a sign and parking meter near Ontario and Kalorama Roads.
The two suspects bailed out and got into a running gun battle with officers. Police caught one of them in the street, but the other tried to hide in a nearby apartment.

"There were 20 shots fired at them, 20 shots," said Jim Graham, (D-Ward 1) the D.C. councilmember who represents this part of the city. "The tragedy is horrible, but the remarkable thing is the police were right here."
Police caught and arrested both suspects. One of them, 32-year old Ercell Overton, is charged with first-degree murder, felony assault on a police officer and burglary. The other suspect, 24-year old Joshua King, is being held on an unrelated probation violation.
"What happened was there was an apparent robbery of a cab driver that led to the murder of that cab driver," Graham said explaining the apparent motive.
Okoroh had driven for Classic Cab Company for about 15 years. The company says he had a wife and five children. He was more than a cabbie to them, he was a friend.
"I tell you, all cab drivers are scared for this to happen, because say for $10 or $15 fee, not justified to die," said Chamroeum Muy at Classic Cab.
Those who knew Okoroh said he had been warned about the dangers, but wasn't one to discriminate.
"This is very terrible because he is one of the few guys that he will not pass anybody. He stops for everyone, he stops for anyone," said Evelyn Ruiz.
She last saw him Saturday when he came by Classic Cab to pick up his insurance card as he did every week.
Okoroh lived in Glenarden, Md. He leaves behind a wife and five children. His son, Prince, plays basketball at Howard University.
A friend read a statement from the family saying in part, "We are saddened such a senseless act took the precious life of Mr. Solomon Okoroh, a very spiritual man, a deacon that loves his church but more than that a family man that loves his family."
Police say the 57-year-old cabbie was shot in the shoulder and later died. Despite the heavy gunfire, neither the suspects nor police was hit.

Police Officer Proposes To Girlfriend By Calling 911

A Bay County, Florida, police officer Rad Nelson wanted to propose to his girlfriend Elizabeth Cook, so he called 911.

Elizabeth Cook is a dispatcher with the Bay County emergency system, and Nelson knew she’d be on the job. Around 3:30 in the morning, he dialed 911 and asked her to transfer over to a “talk” channel (presumably so as not to tie up the emergency line).

From there, he professed, “Elizabeth Ann Cook from the bottom of my heart and the depths of my soul I want to ask you, will you marry me?” The stunned Cook said yes, with strangers on the talk channel listening in.
What a wonderful proposition!
