Mr. kehinde Oloyede, “ Funke Akindele’s former husband” has completed the construction of the multi – million naira mansion, he claims he is building for Funke Akindele before their fight.

The Politician and Funke’s ex- husband  claims he built the house for Funke Akindele, but the actress denied it, saying he is telling a lie, he did not build any house for me.
 Kehinde decided to flaunts the pictures of the beautiful house to verify the authenticity of his claims. The building is located in ikeja, Lagos.

Nollywood Actress, Stephanie Okereke  ex-husband  Chikelu Iloenyosi, has remarried.  The former Super Eagles defender finally married another lady after his celebrated marriage to the sexy ex-beauty queen turned actress packed up three years after they tied the knot.

Chikelu Iloenyosi got married to Stephanie in 2004 and it crashed in 2007. The actress remarried in April 2012 in France to Linus Idahosa in a glamorous wedding ceremony tagged ‘fairy tale’, shortly after a Lagos High Court had declared her 2004 marriage to Iloenyosi null and void.

Husssh…… don’t be surprised, it’s just a movie. Nollywood actresses, Doris Simeon and Kehinde Bankole are set to star in an upcoming TV drama entitled “Relationship”.

Other stars to feature in the new movie are Sango star, Wale Adebayo, Tope Tedela, Ayoola Ayobami and Bisola Aiyeola are also on set as cast.

It was directed by Funke Fayoyin.  This movie will keep Doris simeon busy for the next 14 days.

Nollywood actress, Joke Silva has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Kwara State Nollywood Movie Studio otherwise known as Malete Film Village.

In a statement delivered by the Vice Chancellor of the Kwara State University, Prof. Abdul-Rasheed Na’Allah, ‘Joke Silva, who is a seasoned actress and a world class film director, will be the face and image of the Malete Film Village for some time to come’.

In her acceptance speech, the actress said ‘I would be building a movie studio from scratch and making it viable. More importantly, it is supposed to be an underpinning for Nollywood where the skills that are necessary to sustain Nollywood will be taught. It is to train those who have decided to take a profession in the film industry and the various skills that are involved in the industry’.

The Malete Film Village is an independent venture established by the Kwara State University to produce films and also train film actors, actresses and other experts for Nollywood, the Nigerian film industry and for the entire African film industry.

Consulate's Dinner For Nollywood: Genevieve Nnaji, Others Stand Out

The Consul General of the U.S. Consulate in Nigeria Mr. Jeffrey J. Hawkins hosted the Queen of Nollywood Genevieve Nnaji and other Nollywood celebrities to an exclusive dinner penultimate Friday December 7 at his residence in Ikoyi, Lagos.

One of those who stood out glamorously is the African Best actress, Genevieve Nnaji. Other top movie directors who graced the event too were well treated and had a nice time.

At the dinner were top movie directors Mahmood Ali-Balogun, Bond Emeruwa, Andy Amenechi and fast rising Nollywood producer and actress Amaka Anioji.

Other important guests included Benny Uche of the Public Affairs Section of the United States Embassy, Hope Obioma Opara, President of Eko International Film Festival, Uduak Oguamanam, Bobby Michaels, Rita Onwurah, CNN's Vladamir Duthiers and Bola Aduwo

The U.S Consul General appreciated participants of the capacity building/training workshop for practitioners in Nollywood called Nollywood UP, a program designed by Nollywood Workshops, the Coalition of Nollywood Guilds and Associations (CONGA) and backed by the Lagos State Government.
