Father Of Three Commits Suicide After Being Sacked From Work

Patrick Essien, the father of three Children committed suicide in Imasabemwen Street, off Siluko Road,  Benin, Edo state on Wednesday  29^th  May, 2013, after being sacked from the Transport Company where he worked as a driver.

The lifeless body of the deceased was found dangling from the roof of his toilet . A co-tenant had gone to the toilet to ease himself, but after several knocks on the door without any response, peeped and then saw Patrick’s lifeless body dangling from the roof.

We  heard that he was  friendly, hard-working and had been living at the residence for the past 14 years without any wife or children, but had old told them about his wife and three kids somewhere.
According to them, “we saw him this morning. He said he was sacked and we later found him dead in the toilet.His corpse was later taken away by the police.
