Stella Damasus launches Her New Cloth Line And Beauty Store "Code 55" in Abuja

Nollywood star Actress, Stella Damasus opened the doors of her new clothing and beauty store in Abuja this week. She called the store Code 55.

This is a joint venture with Nollywood director Daniel Ademinokan. For sale at the store will be Stella’s brand of wigs – ADIVA HAIR.

The demand for hair extensions including wigs is extremely high in Nigeria. Other Nollywood actresses in the hair business include Ebube Nwagbo who owns Posh Hair.

Tinsel Stars, Chuks And Ene Are Married For Real

Tinsel Actor and Actress, Iyke Okechukwu (Chuks) and Florence Uwaleke (Ene) are married. They played husband and wife in the popular MNET TV series Tinsel.

Their traditional wedding held at the bride's home in Owerri, Imo state on  January 25th, 2013.

The two dated for a while, while acting on Tinsel before Iyke proposed to Ene   last year. There white wedding will hold later this year. Congratulations to them.

From Music To Fashion - Don Jazzy To Set Up Mavin Clothing Line

Don Jazzy has announced he is setting up his Mavin clothing line very soon. The music producer and record label owner announced his new business venture through  micrco-blogging site Twitter on January 29, 2013.

He said that  the clothing line will be making its debut in the summer.‘#MavinClothing 60% loading… Summer 2013. Watch this space. I dey hail o. IDJA’, he tweeted. It is unclear whether the producer is working with a fashion designer in the background.

He is also looking for models who will show off his outfits on the runaway and is giving everyone an opportunity to fill in the spots by launching a Mavin Clothing Model Search.

Don Jazzy  is also a  philanthropist and an entrepreneur. He is the boss of Mavin Records which boasts of artistes like Wande Coal, Dr Sid, D'Prince and Tiwa Savage.

Ehiz Wins MTV Base VJ Search Competition, Gets N10m Worth Deal

Ehizojia Okoeguale  has won the MTV Base VJ Search competition. He got a N10million contract and brand new Kia Cerato car. 

Ehiz is 25 years old, a graduate of Computer Electronic from Lead City University, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The event, which was held at One-Eleven club in Victoria Island, Lagos, saw two other finalists; Kemi Owatemi and Ada Ogunkeye, compete for the grand prize.

Iyanya, Ice Prince, Burna Boy thrilled the audience with music while Funke Akindele, Toolz, Banky W and Tim Horwood were the judges.

Popular Nollywood actress, Stephanie Okereke  went on a popular photo sharing platform, Instagram, to flaunt her husband, Linus Idahosa.

In the picture posted online by her, Stephanie leaned on her husband in a show of love and affection for each other. The couple, who were married in April 2012, are enjoying their union to the fullest.

Peter Okoye And Lola Omotayo Welcomes A Baby Girl

Peter Okoye's baby mama, Lola Omotayo gave birth to a baby girl in the United States of America yesterday, making Peter Okoye Father of two.

The new baby girl was named Aliona. an addition to their first child, who is a son named Cameron. Congratulation to Peter and Lola.

Buried Baby Found Alive

Some members of  a community in Delta State,  found a baby who was buried alive. Surprisingly the baby survived.

Mr. Macauly Onitsha the father of the 4 month old baby is a labourer, who claims to be annoyed with his wife who refuse to have sex with him. The baby named Edna Macualy was buried in a shallow grave dug by his own father on Saturday at Ekurudu street, Kokori, Asaba, Delta State.

 Fortunately for the baby, a good Samaritan was watching Edna Father burying his baby. The good Samaritan rescued the baby from the father.

16 Policemen Burnt To Death In An Autocrash

Sixteen policemen who  just graduated from Police College were burnt to death at Omua-Aran area of Kwara State following an auto crash involving a Mercedes Bwnz and Hummer Bus.

 An eye witness told journalist that the accident occurred in the morning at about 9.00am just in front of the Federal Government Girls College, Omu-Aran in Irepodun Local Government Area of the state.

The Toyota Hummer bus which the policemen chattered was travelling from Ilorin to Nasarawa State, while the Mercedes Benz car with number plate Kaduna AB 347 BKA was coming from the opposite direction and rammed into the "police vehicle."

It was reported that the impact of both vehicles caused a fire outbreak. However, rescuers were said to have gotten to the scene of the accident too late as both vehicles were burnt beyond recognition.

We gathered that the policemen were indigenes of Kwara, trained in Lagos. They were reportedly travelled through Ilorin to enroute Nasarawa State where they met their untimely death.

We gathered that there are three survivors who are rushed to Omu - Aran General Hospital where they are receiving treatment.

Nigerian Footballer Osaze Odemwingie & Wife Sarah Fallon Welcome There First Baby

Earlier today, Nigerian International & West Bromwich Albion striker Osaze Odemwingie announced the birth of his baby boy on Twitter.

Osaze and his wife, Sarah Fallon tied the knot in May 2012. They have named there baby "Noah".

The proud dad could not hide his excitement of the birth of his first child and he tweeted: “Baby Noah was born at 5.30 this morning and he says hi to everyone! Couldn’t wait any longer cos wanted to celebrate his daddy’s goal!“
