Sanusi calls for the sack of 50% of civil servants in Nigeria

Sanusi had on Tuesday at the Second Annual Capital Market Committee Retreat in Warri, Delta State called on the Federal Government to fire at least 50 per cent of its entire workforce.
Sanusi argued that the country spends 70 per cent of her earnings on salaries and entitlements of civil servants.

He said that having the Federal Government’s staff strength reduced by half would free up capital for infrastructure development in the country and buoy the economy.
“There was no justification in the recommendation,” Omokhuale said.

The CLO chairman said that there was no sense in sacking 50 per cent of civil servants to join an already saturated labour market in Nigeria.
According to him, the focus of governments at all levels should be how to direct excess workforce into other productive use.

8 Ways to Fit Romance into Your Busy Life

What can you do to "fit in" romance into your busy life. It can be done if you follow the eight romantic tips below:
1.Plan date nights:  Actually schedule one night a week that you will spend with your significant other. Put it on the calendar and don't let anything (other than life's emergencies) interfere with your date. This is as important a commitment as your next shift at work
2.Take a vacation with your significant other: only Family vacations are great, but it really is okay to leave your children with grandma and grandpa and spend a long weekend alone with your significant other. You are not a bad parent. By doing this you are not only revitalizing your relationship with your significant other but making all other relationships in your life more successful and happy. A positive side effect is that your kids will miss you and realize how much you mean to them.
3.Do something romantic always:  It doesn't have to be Valentine’s Day or an anniversary to send flowers or an "I love you" card. Surprise your significant other at every opportunity and watch the sparks come back into your relationship. This doesn't take much time or money, but it does remind him/her that in this busy life, you are still thinking about him/her.

4.Say "no": Say no to any new commitments that will take away from your time with your significant other.  If you have plans for the weekend, say "no" to that extra shift.  Yes, the money would be good, but what does this tell him/her? That work is more important. Not good for success in the romance department.

5.Remember that it's the little things that mean a lot. You do not have to spend a dime to remind your partner how important he/she is to you. A surprise kiss on the cheek while cooking dinner, or a gentle touch while you're breezing by with a basket full of dirty laundry, will remind him/her how important the relationship is to you.

6.Compliment please: compliment your significant other on his/her looks. I'm certain you can find something good about him/her in either the hair, clothing, or make-up arenas. Say it! Again, this reminds your significant other that you are emotionally connected to him/her and appreciate him/her.

7.Take quiet time alone whenever you can: Yes, plan the date nights and vacations together, but also take the opportunities that arise to spend quiet time together. When you have an unexpected night alone, do something romantic instead of watching television or reading a book.

8.Be partners in everything you do: You do not have to be with your significant other 24-7, but be on the same sheet of music when it comes to household responsibilities and raising the family. This partnership will help your romantic lives grow.
